This is real! This is me!
I grew up in Pataskala, Ohio, a small town outside Columbus. My parents always knew I was a performer. One time, as a child, I thought the designated reading area in Barnes and Noble was a stage for people to perform on, so I got on up and gave the store a free performance of “Part of Your World.” I’m sure the workers were thrilled. Regardless, there was never a moment in my life when I wasn’t being creative.
I started dancing when I was three and became more confident singing in choir classes once I hit middle school. I loved nothing more than being surrounded by people who loved to perform as much as I did. When I discovered musical theatre in my freshman year of high school, everything clicked. Theatre combined everything I loved to do, and I’ve never felt more myself than when I’m on stage storytelling. My love for what I do led me to NYC, where I’ve been pursuing my degree, and where I’ve found my second home and second family.
Outside of theatre, I love game nights with my friends (we are a huge Mario Party and Disney Sing It household), rewatching “New Girl” or “How I Met Your Mother”, bird watching with my Dad when I’m back in my hometown, and I’m always on the continuous search to find my favorite matcha latte in the city (current fave is Frenchy’s blueberry cinnamon matcha latte)!
